Terms of Service
Service scope
Nomad Energy provides electrical system design, installation, and repair services exclusively for personal-property vehicles including vans, RVs, motorhomes, trailers, and truck campers.
We do not perform electrical work on:
- Residential structures (houses, cabins, outbuildings)
- Commercial buildings
- Rooftop solar installations on any fixed structure
- Any utility-interconnected electrical system
- Any project that requires a contractor's license under Nevada NRS 624 or California B&P Code 7000 et seq.
Quotes and estimates
All quotes are estimates based on initial information provided by the customer. Final pricing may differ based on actual conditions discovered during work. Material scope changes are communicated before proceeding.
Payment
A deposit is typically required before scheduled work begins. Balance is due on completion of work. Payment methods accepted: bank transfer, credit card (with applicable processing fee), personal or business check.
Warranty
Custom Nomad Energy Systems batteries carry a 5-year warranty per the product warranty documentation shipped with each unit. Installation workmanship is warranted for 1 year. Manufacturer warranties on third-party components (Victron, Magnum, etc.) pass through to the customer.
Limits on liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the work performed. We are not responsible for consequential damages arising from system use, improper customer operation, or damage caused by subsequent modifications performed by parties other than Nomad Energy.
Scheduling and cancellation
Scheduled work is reserved with a deposit. Customer-initiated cancellations within 14 days of scheduled work may be subject to a cancellation fee. Weather and travel disruptions affecting our mobile operations are rescheduled without penalty.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nevada and California as applicable to the work location.
