Sprinter, Transit, ProMaster, Astro, Ford E-series, Nissan NV, Chevy Express — if it started as a cargo van, we've probably wired one. Full-system builds from a bare shell, or targeted upgrades to existing conversions.
What a typical van build covers
- Battery bank sized to your actual load profile (150 Ah to 600 Ah lithium)
- Solar array: 200–800 W depending on roof real estate and shade exposure
- Inverter sized to your appliances (2000 W Victron MultiPlus-II is the workhorse)
- DC-DC charger from the alternator (Orion-Tr Smart 30 A or 50 A)
- MPPT charge controller (Victron SmartSolar)
- Full monitoring (Cerbo GX + SmartShunt + optional Cerbo touch screen)
- Fuse panel, bus bars, wiring to code (NEC 480 practices for mobile)
What we don't do
- Bare-shell interior carpentry (cabinets, bedframes, galleys). We wire around the work of your van builder.
- Automotive electrical (starter circuit, engine management, lights). We handle the house system only.
- Gas systems (propane, diesel heaters). Adjacent trade, not ours.
Timelines
A full-system van build is 3–5 shop days depending on complexity. A lithium-only upgrade on an existing system is 1–2 days. All work is mobile — we come to you within the 200-mile radius, or you bring it to the Fortuna Foothills lot for destination builds.
