California is served from both seasonal bases. Summer — Carson Valley reaches the Sacramento area, the Central Valley, Tahoe, and the Eastern Sierra. Winter — Yuma reaches San Diego, Palm Springs, the Imperial Valley, and the Coachella Valley. Between the two seasonal positions, most of California is within our 200-mile radius for at least part of the year.
When we're in California
- May – October: Northern California via Carson Valley — Sacramento, Placerville, Tahoe, Truckee, June Lake, Mammoth, Bishop
- November – March: Southern California via Yuma Foothills — San Diego, El Centro, Palm Springs, Imperial Valley, parts of Orange County
What California customers tell us
The common thread for California customers is boondocking into Nevada, Arizona, and Oregon — the rig gets stored in California but it actually operates off-grid most of its life in the interior West. We dial in systems for the use case, not the registration address.
