Same craft, salt water. We design and build off-grid power systems for sailboats, trawlers, cruisers, and liveaboards — the lithium bank, the solar, the charging, the monitoring — held to ABYC E-11, the marine standard for AC and DC electrical systems on boats. A rig that lives at a dock or on the hook has a harder environment than most vans ever see, and the wiring has to be built for it.
What we build on a vessel
- Lithium (LiFePO4) house banks sized to how you actually use the boat — fridge, autopilot, electronics, watermaker, the works
- Solar arrays that survive a marine deck: shading-tolerant layout, marine- rated mounting, MPPT charge control
- Inverter / charger integration (Victron MultiPlus and Quattro families) with proper AC source switching
- DC-DC charging from the engine alternator, sized so you don't cook the alternator on a long motor
- Monitoring you can trust — shunt-based state-of-charge, not a guess from resting voltage
Built to ABYC E-11
Marine isn't van-build-with-a-view. E-11 governs conductor sizing, overcurrent protection, ignition protection, and connection practice in a wet, moving, vibrating environment. We build to it because that's what keeps a lithium bank safe on a boat — correct fusing close to the source, tinned marine-grade conductors, strain relief and chafe protection where the hull flexes.
Honest about scope
We do off-grid electrical and energy systems — house power, solar, lithium, charging, and the monitoring around them. We are not a full-service boatyard: we don't do propulsion, through-hull, or rigging work. If your job needs that, we'll tell you straight and point you to people we trust.
